Chateau de Chillon

Anje and I spent a week in France and Switzerland with our friends Matt and Samantha. After getting through a couple rental cars we made it to Chateau de Chillon in Montreux on Lake Geneva. Bonivard was chained to the pillars of the prison between 1530 and 1536 and was immortalised by the poet Lord Byron who wrote the poem 'The Prisoner of Chillon' in 1816.(there is a pic of the prison)
